Today's Post is Brought to By the Letter "F"
Posted on: April 19, 2011 by admin. |
This month a lot of toy blogs have been taking on something known as the
A to Z challenge, where each day post a toy that corresponds to a letter in the Alphabet (EX: Batman for B). While I don't have nearly enough toys to do that, I found something on
Bleeding Cool yesterday that's just as good.
My question: Can you name all the heroes in the picture?

Engineernerd for the recipe!

Captain Crunch Dishonorably Discharged
Posted on: March 10, 2011 by admin. |

According to
Life Inc today, breakfast ceral Captain Crunch is quietly sailing off into the horizon. Apparently the Captain's sugary cereal has earned him an enemy even worse than the Soggies and Jean Lafoote combined: President Obama. That's right folks, in a bid to promote healthier living, the White House has pressured PepsiCo (Crunch's owner) to stop its kiddie friendly advertising campaign once and for all. What this means is that probably in the next year or two (sales have been decreasing over the past few years) Cap'n Crunch is going the way of Ecto Cooler and Saturday Morning Cartoons. As someone who grew up on the cereal I'll certainly miss it, but can understand the reasons for its disappearance. So long Captain, it was great while it lasted!
